For this class activity, we learned how to use the 3 act structure to structure our story. We started by having a practice with the movie we picked. The movie that our group picked was Kung Fu Panda, because that was the movie that I watched recently.

I think this event helped me a lot because I was able to learn how to organize a story in the most concise and clear way. Using a familiar story like Kung Fu Panda maximizes the effectiveness of this exercise. I also think it would work well for my own animation work because sometimes I get so caught up in what I’m drawing that I lose the importance of the story itself, and with this, I can easily plan my story beforehand and have a clear storyline that makes the overall work more efficient and clearer.
